Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – DN4 – September Start
Provide Education are working with a secondary school in the DN4 area who are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join them from September 2026.
A Cover Supervisor is responsible for supervising pupils when their usual teacher is unavailable. This is not a teaching role and you will not be expected to plan lessons or deliver your own curriculum. Instead, you will make sure students complete the work that has been prepared by the absent teacher, manage behaviour and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
You will work across different subjects and year groups, making this a great role for someone who is adaptable, confident and enjoys working with young people.
What We’re Looking For:
Applicants with transferable skills and backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. This could include experience in support work, childcare, social work, sports coaching, healthcare, youth work, mentoring, care or similar roles where you have developed strong communication, relationship-building and behaviour management skills.
