100,000 PUPILS BELOW STANDARD

Approximately 100,000 pupils are leaving school without having achieved the basic expected standard of qualifications (5 GCSEs above grade 4/C or equivalent Level 2 qualifications), according to a recent report released by the Children’s Commissioner, Anne Longfield.

This means that there has been a rise of 28% of affected pupils since 2015. Read more here
