Provide Education are working with a school in Barnsley, S73, who are looking for a year 2 teacher to join them for the summer term. The school is in the heart of the community and is a one form entry school.

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to our students. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and assessing student progress. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to engage students and promote active participation in the learning process.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE/QTS preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
