SEND Teacher, Wakefield
A specialist school in the Wakefield area which caters for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are currently recruiting for a General Teacher. The school has pupils between 5 and 19 years, who have a range of complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) needs as well as severe learning and communication difficulties. This a full time position, working on an ongoing basis to commence in September.
Candidates must have previous experience teaching children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and have an understanding around the complexities of SEMH and in teaching a curriculum to young people with behaviours that challenge.
