Position: Secondary Maths Teacher

Location: Derby

We’re seeking dedicated Maths Teachers in Derby.

Whether you’re a seasoned educator or a freshly qualified ECT, we welcome your enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference in the classroom.

Competitive Rates:

£170 – £230 per day for Qualified Teachers

£130 – £150 per day for Unqualified Teachers

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Align teaching strategies with national curriculum standards and school objectives.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
  • Integrate with the department and leadership team: Enhance collaboration, communication, and overall effectiveness in delivering quality education.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the overall educational experience and student outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (preferred)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, but not mandatory
  • Previous experience in education, either as a teacher or through relevant placements
  • Enhanced DBS check with update service (or willingness to obtain one through Provide Education)
