Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the education and well-being of our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to support the academic progress and personal development of children in Years 1 and 2. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to providing a stimulating and nurturing learning experience for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and interactive lessons that are aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students in the class.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote student learning and well-being.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay abreast of educational trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Years 1 and 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, assessment strategies, and pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners and create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Commitment to promoting the holistic development and well-being of all students.
