Spreading our wings across the Pennines
Provide Education is now working with schools and job candidates in Greater Manchester, covering Rochdale, Oldham and Tameside.
We’ll initially be covering these areas from our Brighouse office, and plan to open a new branch office in the county, covering even more districts, before the end of the next academic year.
The move into Greater Manchester comes hot on the heels of our recent expansion into the North East, which saw us open a new office in Teesside in July.
And we’re now working with over 2000 teachers, helping them to find supply teaching posts, and sometimes permanent jobs, in hundreds of schools across South and West Yorkshire, the East Midlands, the North East - and now Greater Manchester too.
Laura Brown, senior consultant at Provide Education, is leading the expansion of the service into Greater Manchester from the Brighouse office. She said: “We’re all really looking forward to growing the business even further across the north, helping to get teachers into work, and schools to fill posts quickly, in time for the Autumn term.”
Barry Simmons, who founded Provide Education with Katie Buckle in 2006, said: “These are certainly busy times for Provide. It’s hard to believe that ten years ago we started out working with just 30 schools, and now, by the end of the year we expect that number to be near to 600.
“There’s no big secret to our success; we simply focus on providing an efficient service with people at the heart of what we do - whether that’s the schools we work with, the job candidates we find work for, or our own fantastic team.”
